Marmwood provides design and laser cutting solutions in manufacturing specialized products normally using our proprietary materials and methods or from other proprietary sources. Our customers range from Mom & Pops who have an idea they want to take to market to selling finished products to Fortune 500 Companies.
Our products are sold as Non Profit Fund Raisers, Mailing Gift Inserts, Added Value Product inserts, Advertising Specialty ( ASI ) SAGE & Promotional Products, Retail Outlets, Restaurants and Bars, Gift & Souvenir Stores & Parks, United States House of Representatives, Political Organizations and many other.
Having an "in house one stop shop manufacturing approach" has served our customers well. Creative design and experienced production solutions sets us apart from others in these times of sending our jobs overseas. Most of our work is providing custom products at mass production scale.
Marmwood was started by Tom Marmalich in 1993 after 20 years of service in the United States Navy Seabees. The "Can Do" attitude and spirit continues. Woodworking was always Tom's lifetime hobby from childhood days. One Christmas Holiday required a special gift for his wife Leila. A checkbook cover made from a solid block of walnut wood seemed like the perfect idea. She showed it around and people started wanting one of their own.Changing checkbook covers from a solid block of wood to a Flexible Wood - Fabric was a significant challenge. It became a patent and our core business.
